Event 1:  Professional Workshop: Programs That Save Kittens

What Will Be Covered?

The professional workshop is designed specifically for professionals working in animal shelters, veterinary clinics, and other careers involving frequent kitten interactions. Topics covered in this session include lifesaving neonate stabilization and supportive care, best practices for on-site kitten care in shelters and vet clinics, kitten-focused programs, foster care, and more. Following the workshop will be a panel discussion among Colorado animal welfare professionals. This is a valuable educational opportunity for all pet professionals who work hands-on with kittens!

Event 2:  Community Workshop: Saving Kittens' Lives
Held on:  5/14/2024 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

What Will Be Covered?

This workshop is an ideal learning opportunity for kitten caregivers of all experience levels. Attendees will learn about helping kittens found outside, the overpopulation of outdoor cats and Trap-Neuter-Return solutions, and how to provide proper hands-on care to kittens from birth to adoption, including bottle feeding, caring for kittens with nursing moms, weaning, socialization, and more.
