Events Committee Member

The Events Committee is responsible for supporting and assisting the staff with planning, coordinating, and strategic direction of the annual conference, member events, and programs. The Executive Director serves as the chair of the Committee. Committee members can be composed of Board Directors and/or CACVT members. 
 

General Responsibilities

  • Provide advice, counsel, and new ideas for annual conference and member programs and events.
  • Provide recommendations and contacts to support planning and coordination of annual conference and programs and events.
  • Provide on-site support at the annual conference and member programs and events, as requested/needed.
  • Assist with procuring sponsorship for the annual conference.

  • Good verbal communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills required
  • Punctuality 

Schedule/Time Commitment

1 year commitment (renewable) at 4-10 hours per month.
