At the end of every year, CACVT has a design contest for the annual t-shirt design. This is a great way to show off your artistic talent! The winning design is printed on the official CACVT T-Shirt released annually at Spring Conference and complimentary to early bird registrants. See below for all contest guidelines and rules.

The submission window for the 2026 design is now closed.  Check back this fall to submit a design for 2027!

How we recognize the top designs

1st Place

Design will be featured on the official CACVT Annual T-Shirt, recognition on social media and in CACVT Connect, and the designer will receive a Spring Conference Package including complimentary registration and hotel room reservation at the conference hotel.

Runner Up

$100 Spring Conference Discount.

Design Rules and Guidelines

    • Design may not exceed 11” wide by 12” high.
    • Design must include the year and “CACVT”.
    • Design will appear on the front of a solid-color shirt.
    • * New this year* There are no restrictions on the number of colors used, but white cannot be used in the design.  Design will be printed in color. Gradients and transparencies cannot be incorporated.
    • Design must be wholly original. By submitting a design, you are guaranteeing that you hold original rights to everything in it, that it may be printed on distributed t-shirts, and that it does not contain any copyright material.
    • Design submission should be saved to 300 dpi to produce a quality output. Acceptable files are high resolution JPGs, PNGs, and PDF files.

    • Members limited to (2) entries. Entries can be submitted by an individual or as a collaborative effort. See more on collaborative efforts below.
    • This contest is open to all CACVT members. 
    • Entries become the property of CACVT.
    • CACVT reserves the right to make adjustments to all entries, including colors of the design and the shirt.

Submission Guidelines

  • Entries must be submitted via the form by 11:59pm on the due date.

  • The submission form will be available below once the submission window is open.

  • Collaborative entries should be submitted by the main contact person but the submission should include the list of participating members.

  • The person submitting the entry will be the only point of contact from CACVT.

Designs will be judged by CACVT staff, board, and volunteers based on the following criteria:

    • Concept and originality
    • Captures spirit of the CACVT mission, vision, and values
    • Completeness of design and readiness for printing
    • Feasibility of reproduction
    • Adherence to design and submission rules and guidelines

How winners will be notified?

Winners will be notified by email after the close of the voting period, via the information provided during entry. At the sole discretion of CACVT, disqualification, forfeiture and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following:

    • Winner’s failure to respond to notification within three (3) business days after it’s transmission.
    • The return of an email notification as undeliverable after three (3) attempts.
    • Winner’s failure to provide original design files.
    • Upon contacting a winner and determining that they have met all eligibility requirements of the contest, such individual will be declared a “winner” of the contest via social media, newsletter and on CACVT.org.
