Virtual Event, early February 2027
Focus Conference offers an immersive experience for veterinary technicians who want to go beyond the basics and explore a single area of veterinary medicine. Previous Focus Conferences have featured Emergency Medicine, Feline Medicine, and Physical Rehabilitation. We are looking for engaging speakers who can deliver in-depth, interactive lectures designed specifically for a virtual audience.

Medical CE focuses on evidence-based medical and surgical topics related to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease as it directly relates to patient care.
Non-medical CE includes professional development topics that support success in veterinary practice and leadership. Here are examples:

Credentialed veterinary technicians, veterinarians, educators, researchers, veterinary industry professionals, and consultants with expertise in a topic relevant to veterinary technicians.
You don’t need to be a seasoned presenter to speak with CACVT.
Many of our most engaging speakers gave their first conference presentation with us. If you’re passionate about a topic and enjoy helping others learn, we encourage you to submit a proposal.
We’re always excited to welcome new voices alongside experienced educators.
We ask speakers to submit a minimum of two one-hour lecture ideas, but you’re welcome to submit as many as you’d like. Each proposal form accepts up to six lectures. Speakers with lecture menus can upload the document into the proposal form.

For Spring Conference, speakers are typically notified in October or November. For other educational events, invitations are extended as programming needs arise. Current needs will be listed at the top of this web page.
